Warehouse Associate

Our client, a manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking temporary Warehouse Associates to support increased order volume at their Albany facility. This assignment is expected to run through the peak season and involves hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role includes picking, packing, and staging orders for shipment, as well as general material handling duties. Associates will work as part of a team under the direction of shift supervisors and are expected to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.

This is a physically active position requiring standing, walking, and lifting for the duration of the shift. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required, as training will be provided on-site.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders according to work instructions
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts as assigned
• Scan and label inventory using handheld devices
• Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Report damaged goods or equipment issues to supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment
• Assist with inventory counts as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures
• Basic reading and math skills for order accuracy
• Reliable transportation to the Albany facility
• Ability to pass a background check
• Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required
