Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst who will be the Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the data warehouse solution meets the complex needs of child welfare operations across multiple divisions.

Duties:

• Gather and document comprehensive business requirements from multiple divisions
• Analyze current state data silos across Investigations, Prevention, Foster Care, and FSU systems
• Define data integration requirements
• Document business rules for data standardization and cleansing
• Create functional specifications for analytics platform and reporting tools
• Define user access requirements and role-based permissions
• Facilitate requirements workshops with stakeholders across programs
• Create user stories and acceptance criteria for development team
• Support UAT planning and execution
• Validate that delivered solution meets business requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience on large-scale IT projects
• Experience with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects
• Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, and dashboard design
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
• Strong documentation and communication abilities
• SQL query writing
• Understanding of data modeling concepts
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)

Desirable Qualifications: 

• Government or social services domain experience
• Knowledge of child welfare systems and operations
• Experience with case management systems
• NYC government experience
• Understanding of ETL processes

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
