Eklego is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Dining Services to oversee the Dietary and Clinical Nutrition Services department at United Methodist Homes in Binghamton, NY . This role ensures compliance with nutritional standards, government regulations, and internal procedures while creating an optimal dining experience for residents and guests.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage the dining experience across all areas, including special catering events.
• Oversee food production and menu planning for regular, holiday, and catered events.
• Ensure meal schedules and quality control standards align with organizational goals.
• Hire, train, and develop department staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Create and maintain staff schedules , including work assignments and vacation planning.
• Maintain high standards of food service, sanitation, safety, and security .
• Develop and manage departmental budgets (operational and capital).
• Analyze operational data to optimize quality, cost, and future service development.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless dining experience .

What We're Looking For:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification is required .
• 2-3 years of dietary management experience preferred .
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for creating high-quality dining experiences.
