Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Care

Location: Syracuse, NY

Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks

Assignment Details:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for an Ambulatory Care setting. The RN will provide patient-centered care in an outpatient environment, performing clinical assessments, supporting physicians, and ensuring efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in an ambulatory setting
• Deliver direct patient care with minimal supervision
• Assist physicians and providers during examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years)
• Experience in similar-sized hospital or trauma center setting
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and health clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ambulatory care experience
• OB-GYN experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
