Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Line Cook to join the team at our dynamic Greek-American fusion restaurant. In this role, you will use high-quality ingredients to prepare innovative dishes that blend authentic Greek flavors with American culinary influences for our guests. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience that celebrates this unique fusion. If you have a passion for crafting bold, flavorful meals that bridge Greek and American cuisines, we want to hear from you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Greek-American fusion dishes
- Present food in an appealing manner, reflecting the vibrant and innovative aesthetic of Greek-American fusion
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of ingredients and let team know as needed
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required. Diner experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
