Operating Mechanic II
Location: Orangeburg, NY
Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available
Pay: $21/hr (1st & 2nd Shift) | $26/hr (3rd Shift)

We're hiring Operating Mechanic II team members to support maintenance and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in industrial maintenance while gaining hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and production machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine maintenance and equipment repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues under supervision.
- Perform routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Replace worn or defective parts using hand and power tools.
- Read equipment manuals and work orders.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and daily checklists.
- Work with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Keep work areas clean and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude or maintenance experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must speak and understand English.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs..
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn, work overtime as needed, and work in a team environment.
