IMPACT OF THIS ROLE
As the Web & Media Analytics Manager at Rosewood Hotel Group, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across our digital platforms and media channels. In this role you will lead and manage the execution of digital measurement solutions, providing technical solutions to fulfill tracking, personalization, and analytics implementation goals. You will be responsible for analyzing website performance, media campaign effectiveness, and customer behavior across channels to drive insights that will inform our digital strategy and enhance the digital guest journey. As a key member of the analytics team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across Digital, Marketing, Brand, Product, Commercial, and eCommerce to ensure data-driven insights drive business decisions. The ideal candidate brings a balanced skill set-strong technical proficiency in analytics tools, including troubleshooting for data integrity, paired with communications skills to translate data into clear, actionable insights for department heads. This is a full-time, exempt position.
This position is open to candidates based in Dallas, TX.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Collection and Analysis:
• Implement, configure, and maintain web and media analytics platforms, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), and social media insights tools, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
• Coordinate tag management implementation through Adobe Launch and GTM.
• Monitor website and media channel performance metrics, including traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and audience behavior.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
• Create and maintain tracking architecture, implementation of tagging, and validation of measurement techniques across digital products and marketing.
• Develop tracking architecture for digital initiatives and campaigns, producing technical specifications to provide to engineers and other development resources for implementation.
• Liaise with third party partners and vendors to drive and author scope and process documentation.
• Responds to evolving business needs with agility, ensuring analytics deliverables are completed at the pace of business with quick turnarounds.
Reporting and Visualization:
• Create, maintain and deliver regular reports and dashboards helping teams understand opportunities and track progress against key performance metrics.
• Visualize data effectively using tools like Adobe Analytics, Power BI, and Looker to make complex information accessible and actionable.
Competitive Analysis:
• Monitor industry trends and competitors' digital presence to identify opportunities and threats.
• Stays current with evolving digital tracking technologies, industry standards, and best practices; serves as a proactive advocate for implementing innovative, effective analytics solutions.
• Provide recommendations based on competitive analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
Optimization and Strategy:
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies for improving website and media channel performance.
• Advise on digital media and CRM tracking based on experience with Google Marketing Platform, other DSPs, CDPs and SalesForce Marketing Cloud
• Conduct A/B testing and user experience analysis to optimize user engagement and conversion rates.
Data Governance and Compliance:
• Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Help to establish data governance best practices within the organization.
• Remain current on industry changes, especially related to data privacy regulations.
• Educate properties and stakeholders on how data is collected and processed, and which data may be related to various regional data privacy concerns.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance by maintaining analytics tagging standards and supporting digital data governance initiatives across platforms.
Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with IT, marketing, digital, content, and creative design teams to integrate analytics into the development and optimization of digital assets.
• Partners with external media agencies to align on campaign measurement strategies, ensure accurate data tracking, and optimize performance reporting.
• Collaborate with our collection of property teams globally, aligning strategies and delivering insights that support local property goals.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in web and media analytics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, eCommerce, Revenue Management, and Brand teams to align goals, share insights, and drive data-driven informed decisions.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Proven experience (5+ years) in web and media analytics or a similar role
• Proven subject matter expertise in tracking architecture, tag management, conventions and taxonomies, and martech platforms including analytics and digital personalization
• Experience implementing and maintaining web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and tag management systems (Adobe Launch, GTM)
• Proficiency in implementing and troubleshooting tracking codes via tag management systems (e.g. Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager)
• Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI)
• Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies
• Proven experience, understanding data and transforming and communicating into valuable analysis across Rosewood corporate teams and global hotel and resort portfolio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and strong presentation skills – ability to tell a story with data with the ability to identify and adapt to audiences of different technical levels.
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Experience with global markets and location-based businesses. i
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Required to be an Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Analytics Business Practitioner, Developer certification a plus.
• Required Google Analytics Certification
This position is open to candidates based in Dallas, TX, or New York City. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$126,000 annually. This is the pay range for this position that the company reasonably expects to pay. This position also may be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of experience, location, and education.
