Key Job Details – Labor & Delivery RN

• Location: Rochester, MI 48307 (Detroit metro area)
• Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery (LDRPN Unit)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/8/2025 – End: 12/6/2025)
• Shift: 7:00am – 7:30pm, 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2070 per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Locum Tenens
• Time Off: 1 week RTO allowed during contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan (Registered Nurse, MI State Board of Nursing)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
• Certifications required: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Proficiency with CPN and Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and patient education for mothers and families
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans
• Participate in problem-solving and implement solutions for variances in patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CPN and Cerner EMR systems
