Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, $20-$25 an hour
Summary
Coordinate the activities involved with Being a liaison between Customer Service and the Technical Departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily workflow of the department; organize staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
- Ability to be a team leader, teach skills, and promote harmony.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Creation of jobs for stock movement and modifications to be performed.
- Receive incoming products and identify receiving exceptions.
- Identify backorders, ETAs, update information required for backorders.
- Processing and inspection of technical data including data Entry. (SER, SAP, Warranty Screens)
- Contact customers to provide information on the status of job including but not limited to; estimates, jobs, exceptions, ETAs, and back-orders.
- Coordinate order processing done in department and understanding rules and requirements for supplier/manufacturer.
- Order fill and preparation of units for shipping.
- Research the history of previous repairs, orders, exchanges, invoices, and warranty information.
- Provide direction to customers on products not serviced at United Radio.
- Track packages and provide tracking information for various products.
- Promote and adhere to United Radio’s Core Values.
- Ensure compliance with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree and/ or supervisory experience preferred. Two years of United Radio customer service/support experience.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of Understand United Radio computer programs and websites, both UR and manufacturer.
- Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standards exist.
Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated hourly rate between $20.00 and $25.00 an hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
