Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of successfully running a store.
- Supervise day-to-day store activities
- Ensuring overall store performance
- Identifying staffing needs
- Managing schedules
- Financial review all purchase costs, labor costs, and inventories daily
- Developing operational action plans
- Mentor and develop team members
- Oversee and order products
- Oversee department inventory
- Maintain quality control & sanitary measures
- Conduct disciplinary issues
- Ensure company compliance, policies, and procedures are followed
- Perform related duties as assigned by the General Manager/Executive Leadership
- Perform duties outside your assigned area when called upon by the General Manager as needed
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Proficient computer skills
- Requires multitasking, quick decision-making, and the ability to manage stress in a high-traffic setting while providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, often 9-10 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to stock shelves, organize displays, or retrieve products from storage.
- Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems, and use equipment such as slicers, scales, and espresso machines
- May need to work in refrigerated sections, freezers, or warm kitchen/prep areas.
- Must be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
