Financial Services Operations Associate (PT)

As a member of the Farm Advisory Services team, the Part-Time Operations Associate/Specialist works as part of a team dedicated to improving our customers' financial reporting, providing them with the information they need to make business decisions and ensuring their compliance with Federal and State tax and payroll laws. A basic understanding of accounting principles is key, as are excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. This position works closely with our tax and business accounting analyst staff, consultants, and other business units to develop a strong understanding of Farm Credit East's products, procedures, and services to provide valuable support to all team members. We use state of the art technology for customer relations (Salesforce), internal communication (Microsoft TEAMS) and delivery of services. Duties and Responsibilities: Operational Excellence Adheres to Farm Credit East internal policies and procedures surrounding time and billing practices, electronic data storage, communication protocols and document storage Maintains proper documentation and communication with members and staff to respond to internal and external customer needs Customer Centricity Follows up on customer (both internal and external) communication within 24 hours Actively manages Agworx dashboards, and CCH workstream as applicable to your role When applicable, documents all customer contacts in AgWorx with comments intended to benefit all team members serving the customer Job Qualifications and Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business or related field. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job. This position is conducted out of a physical Farm Credit East office location in order to effectively serve local customers. Farm Credit East requires new employees to work at their assigned office location for the first 2 weeks of their employment. After 2 weeks of acceptable performance, the employee is eligible for a hybrid working structure of 4 days in-office and 1 day working from home each week.
