In this fast-paced, high-energy role, you will be expertly trained to work one-on-one to assist people with complex intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their goals, as you record their progress. You will engage in site activities, offer caregiving support to the adults in the program, and assist with transportation by driving participants throughout the day.

This is your chance to be creative and use your problem-solving skills as you navigate new ways to help the people which you support. I/DD experience is preferred.

As a 1:1 Direct Support Professional, you’ll need:

• Qualified NYS Driver’s License
• Completion of advanced training will be required (AMAP AND SCIP-R)
• A passion to help others
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with ID/DD preferred
• HS Diploma preferred
