We’re on the hunt for our next Manager of Employer Engagement & Retention. This individual will lead the charge in connecting talent with opportunity by managing a dynamic employer engagement team as a connector of all things. The Manager of Employer Engagement & Retention will build lasting relationships with employers across key sectors while ensuring clients thrive through robust placement and retention strategies. Finally, this individual won’t be afraid to use data to drive smart decisions, optimize programs, and shape the future of workforce development.
The Awesome Things You’ll Do
- Oversee employer engagement team to develop and implement employer engagement strategies and ongoing employer account management.
- Develop systems for development, distribution, and management of job orders.
- Oversee and conduct regular Job Fairs (both in-person and hybrid).
- Organize Business Advisory Council meetings to maintain and establish ongoing partnerships with new and existing employers, with emphasis on sectors of focus that include Health Care, Human Services, Technology, and Maintenance/Security.
- Oversee retention specialist teams to coordinate all retention services.
- Coordinating and tracking placements and ongoing engagement of clients.
- Coordinate all retention services, including workplace integration, retention confirmation, re-employment services, and referrals to external/internal advanced training providers/supports.
- Utilize data sources to identify programmatic needs
- Develop, maintain, and provide reports that will track and analyze client activities to optimize engagement & placement outcome rates for all programs.
- Exercise independent judgment and analyze trends to offer recommendations to management team.
- Assist in special projects as directed.
- Other related activities/duties as needed.
Our Must Haves
- BA/BS degree and/or equivalent 5 years' experience in Workforce Development and or recruitment.
- Experience in a non-profit organization or understanding non-profit operations.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in workforce development, job placement, or career services.
- Must be a highly motivated professional with 5+ years in experience in strong sales
- Experience working with company executives.
- Ability to build relationships and to form strategic partnerships.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
