Position Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Flushing, NY 11355

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Shift: Day Shift (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) | 5x8 Hours

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Job Summary:
Provide clinical and administrative support in a busy outpatient clinic, assisting providers with patient care, documentation, and daily clinic operations. Must be fluent in Mandarin.

Responsibilities:

• Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Complete EMR documentation and administrative tasks
• Provide patient education as directed by providers
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of Medical Assistant training program required
• BLS certification required
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA)
• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Fluent in Mandarin required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced outpatient setting
