A leading AmLaw 100 national law firm is seeking a talented mid-to-senior level Associate Attorney to join its thriving Employment Litigation Practice in New York . This position offers the opportunity to represent sophisticated private-sector employers in complex employment disputes while collaborating with an accomplished national team.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in New York , in good standing
- Admission to practice in New Jersey and/or Connecticut is a plus
- 5+ years of substantive employment litigation experience
- Management-side representation of private sector employers , with proven ability to handle complex employment matters
- Experience litigating before federal and state courts , arbitrations , and administrative agencies
- Demonstrated skills in fact investigation , discovery management (including substantial ESI productions ), depositions , motion practice , and trial preparation
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting dispositive motions and discovery-related motions
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of active cases while maintaining exceptional client service
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels
- Lead discovery efforts, including substantial ESI production and management of complex case files
- Take and defend depositions , prepare witnesses , and participate in hearings and trials
- Draft , oppose , and argue motions , including dispositive and discovery-related motions
- Collaborate with partners and clients to shape litigation strategy and drive case outcomes
- Provide exceptional client service through effective communication and tailored legal solutions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment three or more days per week physically present in New York office.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Annual salary range of $225,000 – $330,000 , as determined by experience and market factors
