HVAC Engineer (2–7 Years) | NYC Consulting Engineering Firm

A highly respected MEP consulting engineering firm in Manhattan is seeking an HVAC Engineer with 2-7 years of experience to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work alongside industry-leading engineers on high-profile commercial, institutional, healthcare, mixed-use, and high-rise projects throughout the NYC metro area.
What You'll Do:
- Design HVAC systems from concept through construction
- Perform load calculations and equipment selection
- Prepare plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Coordinate with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Conduct field surveys and support construction administration efforts
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and industry-standard design software
What We're Looking For:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-7 years of HVAC design experience within an MEP consulting environment
- Experience with commercial building systems
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- EIT preferred; PE track strongly encouraged
