About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper for an accounting firm in the US. The ideal candidate will have Quickbooks experience and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial accuracy.

Responsibilities

Transaction Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in accounting software or ledgers and categorize transactions into appropriate accounts.

Accounts Receivable & Payable: Issue invoices to customers and follow up on payments. Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments.

Reconciliation: Match transactions in accounting records with bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Reporting: Generate reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management review.

Cash Flow Monitoring: Track the inflow and outflow of cash to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.

Budgeting Support: Provide accurate financial data to help management create budgets and forecasts. Track expenses to ensure adherence to the budget.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with local regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

- 2+ years of experience with Quickbooks is a must.

- Knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proven ability to work independently and proactively identify and address issues.

- C1/C2 level English proficiency, with bilingual written and verbal communication skills.
