Are you a compassionate, energetic individual who enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of others? Our Skilled Nursing Facility is currently seeking a dedicated Activities Aide to join our team and help create meaningful experiences for our residents.
Position Summary:
The Activities Aide assists in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational, social, and therapeutic activities designed to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our residents. This role plays an important part in creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and leading daily activities and events for residents
Encourage resident participation in group and one-on-one activities
Help set up and clean up activity areas and materials
Escort residents to and from activities when needed
Support special events, holiday celebrations, and outings
Document participation and communicate resident interests to the Activities Director
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is a plus
Friendly, patient, and compassionate attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to be creative and engage residents with a variety of interests
