SUMMARY
Data Entry Specialist will support data entry support services for team members for refugee resettlement and integration support for ongoing and collaborative efforts by federal, state, and local governments, NGOs, non-profits, resettlement agencies, and community organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
- Ensure required program data is entered into statewide database with precision and speed.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies when entering data into the statewide database.
- Conduct regular reviews of data and reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Participate in and support data analysis efforts to identify trends in program administration.
- Coordination and documentation of work session meetings.
- Tracking and coordination of audit programs.
- Records management for program specific information.
- Providing guidance to parks or other divisions.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
No management/supervisory authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2 years related experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be proficient in Windows based PC-compatible computers, general office equipment, MS Office Suite, the internet, and databases.
- Knowledge of advanced functions of variety computer software and the ability to use and integrate these software packages to develop the desired results.
- Must have knowledge of office management principles, practices, and procedures, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with typing, writing and editing preferred.
- Must be an effective team worker with excellent interpersonal communications skills.
- Must work independently with subject matter experts to determine needs and complete assigned tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screen.
- Cherokee Federal employees are included as covered employees in U.S. Presidential Executive Order 14042, which mandates Covid vaccines for federal contractors. Executive Order 14042 is currently blocked from enforcement pending court proceedings. Therefore, Cherokee Federal is halting the application of the mandate; however, if the injunction is lifted, Cherokee Federal will restore administration of the vaccine requirement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will be performed primarily in a climate-controlled office environment. Travel is required to site up to 100% of the time if not local to area.
