In this role, you will:

  • Partner with the Manager to foster an environment where residents participate in self-care, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and well-being.
  • Supervise and train Direct Support Professionals to deliver exceptional care and maintain a high quality of life for residents.
  • Assist with the training of new employees to ensure that the residence is adequately staffed with qualified employees.
  • Manage weekly work schedules, assigning shifts based on staff availability and resident needs to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate staff records, document performance, attendance, and training needs to support effective supervision.
  • Ensure daily documentation of treatment plans is complete and accurate, upholding the highest standards of care.

We require:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • At least one year of experience supporting people with developmental disabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities to manage schedules and records
