E-COMMERCE ASSISTANT MANAGER

Compensation Range: $35 - 42 per hour
Our client in the luxury beauty space is looking for an E-Commerce Assistant Manager. The E-Commerce Assistant Manager is responsible for managing indirect online operations to drive consumer sales and elevate brand image across all digital touch points. This role focuses on e-retail partners, ensuring a seamless flow of brand assets and maintaining high-quality product presentation.
The ideal candidate serves as the primary point of contact for organizing and distributing digital assets (images, video, copy) while auditing Product Detail Pages (PDPs) to ensure brand consistency. This role requires an organized individual with a background in digital asset management and e-commerce merchandising.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a robust asset management system for all brand PDP and retail media assets.
- Ensure all assets are properly sized and approved from global databases for localized e-retailer use.
- Oversee the timely and accurate trafficking of digital assets to various e-commerce platforms and internal commercial partners.
- Rigorously review all assets for quality, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines before distribution.
- Verify correct file formats, resolutions, and copy alignment before final hand-off to partner teams.
- Ensure expired assets are removed and replaced across all platforms on a monthly basis.
Workflow & Platform Expertise
- Develop and maintain efficient workflows for asset requests, approvals, and delivery.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, content, and growth teams to ensure seamless asset flow.
- Maintain technical expertise regarding specifications for various online platforms (file sizes, video formats, etc.).
- Regularly audit Product Detail Pages (PDPs) for top SKUs on key retailer websites to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance product presentation and conversion rates.
- Maintain a comprehensive promotional calendar tracking brand activities across various online retailers.
- Ensure alignment of promotional activities with the overall marketing strategy.
- Liaise with growth and commercial teams to update promotional data weekly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in digital asset management and trafficking, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) software.
- Competencies: * Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media and online advertising.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven project management abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
