Member Service Representative I

As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting members with their financial needs, establishing and maintaining long-lasting and profitable relationships, and promoting and cross-selling TEG products and services. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):

» 1-3 years of similar or related practice in a bank or Credit Union

»An interest in developing into an MSR II position and beyond!

»A high school diploma or GED

»Excellent member/ customer service expertise

»Excellent verbal and written communication expertise

»Logical and analytical judgement

»Must be comfortable with computers, have a basic expertise of Windows, and be able to lgain new software programs quickly

What You'll Do as a Member Service Representative (Responsibilities):

»Open accounts for new and existing members, respond to member requests, and resolve member account problems

»Perform advanced member transactions

»Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, including teller tasks as needed by your branch

»Analyze credit reports and perform credit reviews for membership

»Conduct outbound sales/leads calls as needed and assist Branch Manager in coaching/developing staff on meeting branch goals

»Effectively cross sell credit union products and loan services

»Perform member service functions, including redeeming bonds, setting up payroll distributions, wire transfers, processing address changes, ordering checks, etc.

Pay: $18 - $25 / hour, located on practice and position
