Job Description:

JP Morgan is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the Data Strategy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical expertise, business acumen, and analytical skills to bridge business needs with technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Create requirement documents, analyze data, and support software development initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Work across diverse systems, production environments, and data platforms.
• Support the development and enhancement of business systems and processes.
• Communicate objectives, project status, and results clearly to stakeholders.
• Ensure strong documentation and planning practices are followed.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
• Experience: Minimum 6+ years as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst with expertise in creating business systems and requirement documentation.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to drill down from the big picture to process-level details.
• Proven ability to balance technical skills with business acumen.
• Technical Expertise:
• SQL/database experience (mandatory, strong expertise required).
• Experience with multiple production systems and data platforms.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and Data Warehousing concepts (preferred).
