Warehouse Associate

Yzer is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate to join our Last Mile team, reporting directly to the Hub Supervisor. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling tasks that support efficient delivery processes. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Location: Syracuse, NY 13211

Pay Scale: $22

Hours: M-F 3:00 am to 11:00 am

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Hub Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accurate counts and timely restocking. Investigate discrepancies and report issues to the Hub Supervisor.
• Prepare and sort products for delivery, ensuring they are sent to the correct destinations efficiently.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
• Work closely with team members to foster a culture of collaboration and open communication, encouraging input and shared decision-making.
• Assist in training new team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about warehouse processes and safety standards.
• Help maintain records and prepare reports on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with some preferred experience in leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs., with or without assistance
• Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift.
• Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
• Requires normal hearing range
