Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Bids Specialist to join their team. As a Bids Specialist, you will be part of the procurement and sales support department, supporting the bid development and proposal process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bids Specialist

Location: Melville, NY

Pay Range: $26.00 - $28.00/hr

Shift: M-F 8am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Identify and develop new bid opportunities to support organizational growth
• Prepare and coordinate bids, quotes, proposals, and sales plans
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and team members to maintain bid accuracy
• Conduct price and cost savings analysis to optimize proposals and reduce expenses

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic business math skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer service orientation with the ability to resolve complex issues
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks
