Position Summary: As a Benefits Representative, you will play a crucial function in supporting the administration of employee benefits programs. Your responsibilities will include managing employee inquiries, processing benefit enrollments and changes, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in benefits administration and possess excellent communication and problem-solving expertise.
Benefits Representative General Requirements:
»Minimum of three years of practice working in benefits administration
»In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations
»Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices
»Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise
»Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
»Proficient in using HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
» capability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
»Exceptional problem-solving expertise and capability to work well under pressure
Benefits Representative Responsibilities:
»Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits programs promptly and accurately
»Process new employee enrollments and facilitate changes to existing benefits plans
»Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
»Collaborate with HR and payroll departments to ensure seamless benefits administration
»Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new employees, explaining available programs and assisting with enrollment
»Assist with open enrollment processes, including communication, coordination, and data management
»Keep up-to-date with changes in benefits regulations and industry trends
»Resolve benefits-related issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner
»Provide exceptional customer service to all employees, ensuring their satisfaction with benefits offerings
