Position: General Laborer
Company: Woodstone Earth Construction
Schedule: Be willing to work 40 -55 hours during the summer, Monday-Friday

Position Summary:
General Laborers at Woodstone Earth Construction will assist in a variety of laborious tasks on commercial sitework projects that are required to complete the job. Examples include: hand tool operation, raking stone, operating hand tampers/etc

Pay Structure:
Tier 1: Entry-Level General Laborers (0-2 years of experience)
Pay Rate: $20-25$/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of daily task at hand/Think of it like a box of chocolates
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean and organized workspaces
• Work closely with the team and communicate effectively with supervisors

Qualifications:

• Employability traits- consistently arrive on time/daily positive attitude/good work ethic/willingness to listen/aptitude to learn
• Follow direction
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment. (Dependent on level)
• Physically be able to do this work daily under various weather conditions
• Not afraid to get dirty

Tier 2: Novice/Amateur General Laborers (2+ years of experience)
Pay Rate: $25-30$/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Clearer understanding of task required
• Willingness to mentor and guide less experienced general laborers
• Understanding of tools and equipment and the maintenance of those items
• Daily maintenance of equipment and assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Work efficiently with the team
• Experience in setting up laser/floor/paving preparation/basic concrete skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Leadership skills and ability to mentor others
• A high desire to produce a quality product constantly

• Not afraid to get dirty
