Local Rate: $1,770/week

Travel Rate: $2,351.50/week

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Surgical/Operating Room Technician for a travel contract in a high-acuity Pediatric OR setting. The ideal candidate will possess advanced scrub skills across a broad range of specialties and have proven experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub duties for pediatric surgical cases, including general and specialty procedures

• Assist in surgeries including ortho, ENT, vascular, GYN, GU, and trauma

• Ensure proper sterile technique and instrument handling throughout procedures

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia personnel

• Prepare the OR and surgical equipment based on procedure requirements

• Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, and hospital protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years recent scrub experience in an acute care OR

• Trauma center experience (Level 1 or Level 2) required

• Proficient in general, orthopedic, ENT, vascular, and GYN cases

• Preferred experience in neurosurgery, trauma, bariatrics, and GU procedures

• OB scrub experience strongly preferred

• Certification in Surgical Technology preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
