Host
Ernesto’s is a lively Basque-style restaurant known for pintxos, thoughtful cocktails, natural wine, and a warm, energetic atmosphere. We are looking for a polished, confident Host to be the first and last impression for our guests.
What You’ll Do
Greet guests warmly and manage the flow of the dining room
Manage reservations and walk-ins using our reservation system
Communicate wait times clearly and graciously
Coordinate with management and service staff to ensure smooth seating
Answer phones, assist with guest inquiries, and manage guest expectations
Maintain an organized, calm, and welcoming host stand
Assist with coat check, menus, and general front-of-house needs
Help uphold Ernesto’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and fun
What We’re Looking For
Friendly, composed, and guest-focused demeanor
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and awareness of the room at all times
Weekend and evening availability required
Previous hosting or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
