Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
Status : Full Time Regular Shift: DAY SHIFT Department: OP Infusion Position Summary Summary: The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing scheduling and office support to service providers and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. Qualifications Responsibilities: Education Required- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Minimum one- three year(s) in customer service or reception in a health care environment.
- Working knowledge of insurance and pre-certification process.
- Medical Terminology required.
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers and telephones.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
- Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder.
- Handling telephones, computers, bending and lifting.
