Contemplative Practitioner - Remote

Are you passionate about helping others achieve mental and emotional well-being through contemplative practices? We are looking for experienced Contemplative Practitioners to provide remote, telehealth services to adolescents and young adults. This role offers the opportunity to support clients on their healing journeys through a holistic, integrative approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.

As a Contemplative Practitioner, you will facilitate group sessions using evidence-based mindfulness, meditation, and contemplative practices. You will play a key role in fostering a supportive and engaging environment that empowers clients to develop self-awareness, resilience, and purpose. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those struggling with mental health challenges.

This is a contract (1099) position with flexible scheduling. We ask that facilitators commit to a minimum of 9 group hours per week to build strong connections with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead virtual group sessions utilizing contemplative practices such as Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Breathwork, Philosophical Consultation, Transpersonal Psychology, Spiritual Coaching, and Meditation.

Support clients in developing mindful awareness, emotional regulation, and self-inquiry skills.

Create a welcoming and inclusive space for adolescents and young adults to explore their mental health challenges and personal growth.

Collaborate with a team of mental health and wellness professionals to ensure a holistic treatment approach.

Stay informed about current research and best practices in contemplative and integrative therapies.

About You:

Demonstrated expertise in contemplative practices (e.g., C-IAYT Yoga Therapists, RYT Yoga Teachers, MBSR, MSC, or similar credentials).

Experience working with teens and young adults in a therapeutic or wellness-focused setting.

Strong facilitation skills and a passion for group work.

Creative, engaging, and comfortable leading sessions over video conferencing platforms.

A team player who values collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Background in mental health, behavioral health, or related fields required.

Certification in a contemplative practice (all disciplines welcome to apply).

At least 3 years of teaching or facilitation experience in contemplative practices.

A master's degree in mental health or a related field is strongly preferred.

Experience working with high-acuity populations is required.

Must be available during weekday afternoons and evenings (3-8 PM MT, Monday to Thursday) and Saturdays.

Ability to dedicate between 9 and 40 hours per week.

Proficiency with telehealth technology, including video conferencing and cloud-based communication tools (e.g., Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox).

Reliable internet connection for remote sessions.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and have native or bilingual English proficiency.
