About the Role:

Schivo Medical is looking to hire a Zeiss CMM Operator to join our night shift Quality team in our medical device manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll perform precision dimensional inspections using Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure parts meet customer and regulatory requirements.

No prior CMM experience required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to help you build a solid career in quality and metrology.

Zeiss CMM Operator – Night Shift

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Department: Quality

What You’ll Do:

• Operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software to inspect precision parts.
• Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T .
• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify part dimensions.
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow 5S and good housekeeping practices to keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work closely with machinists and engineers to communicate inspection results.
• Support a safe and quality-focused production environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience necessary – training provided!
• Interested in manufacturing, precision measurement, or quality inspection.
• Good computer and math skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently on the night shift.
