Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Analyst on the Media Group finance team to be an integral member of the team that is analyzing and evaluating subscriber revenue, developing internal analytics and measurement tools, assessing growth initiatives and their impact on subscriber revenue both domestically and internationally. The role provides the unique opportunity to become a member of NBCUniversal’s expanding Media business, primarily focused on Peacock. This role will work closely with the Growth Marketing, Decision Sciences and Strategy teams to analyze new and ongoing growth opportunities for the Peacock business.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and update a variety of subscriber revenue forecasting models with focus on key underlying subscriber assumptions/metrics
- Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models to support key business decisions including price changes, promotional offers, and wholesale/partnership/distribution opportunities including scenario analysis
- Partner with operating leaders and Decision Sciences to research and analyze issues and questions raised by leadership to inform decision-making
- Report and track, as needed, on subscriber metrics and serve as KPI expert distilling actionable insights from business trends
- Develop presentation materials that effectively communicate model output/assumptions, business performance, and other key topics to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of relevant finance/strategy experience in media, direct-to-consumer subscription, management/strategy consulting, investment banking or similar fields
- Proven quantitative and analytical skills, including significant financial modeling experience
- Desired Characteristics:
- Strong interest in the media industry, specifically in streaming video
- Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize data and complex information, and present succinctly to executives and stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinking with strong intellectual curiosity
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity, collaborate effectively, and build consensus in a highly matrixed environment
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work in a fast-moving, hard-working team
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
