Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric with a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care to pediatric patients, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing safe and effective patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

• PALS Certified through AHA
• BLS Certified through AHA

RN01

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Provide direct bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients, including medication administration and treatment monitoring.
• Perform clinical procedures such as changing dressings, inserting catheters, starting IVs, and operating specialized medical equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs, document patient progress, and promptly report adverse reactions or changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery care, and discharge instructions while maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to nursing standards and protocols.

Skills:

• Minimum two (2) years of recent Med/Surg Rehab experience in a large acute care hospital setting, with the most recent experience within the past year.
• Strong clinical skills in physical assessment, medication administration, and post-operative patient care.
• Experience in wound care, infection control practices, and IV therapy administration.
• Ability to monitor telemetry, identify changes in patient conditions, and respond appropriately.
• Proficient in patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation; EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,100.00 per week
