NYC Premier Hospitality Group - IGC is seeking an experienced Server for our venues located in the The Rockaway Hotel. IGC Hospitality owns and operates multiple high volume venues in NYC and Florida including Refinery Rooftop, Parker & Quinn, Park Avenue Tavern, The Wilson and The Rockaway Hotel.

We are looking for a skilled Server with a passion for Hospitality & providing outstanding customer service.

**Responsibilities:**

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance guest experience through upselling.
• Ensure all food handling and sanitation standards are met while serving food and beverages.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively communicate with guests.
• Build and grow relationships with clients and purveyors for repeat business

**Requirements:**

• Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
• Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Proven experience as a server in a high-volume setting
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers
• Passion for hospitality and a positive, team-oriented attitude
