Job Description:
The client is seeking a skilled Oracle Fusion Expenses Functional Analyst to manage end-to-end expense lifecycle operations, including configuration, accounting, integrations, and user support, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient expense processing.

Job Summary
Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Expenses, including expense types, templates, policies, receipt requirements, and policy validation rules
Support the full expense lifecycle from employee submission and manager approvals through audit review and exception handling
Configure and manage approval workflows based on business rules, monitoring and resolving bottlenecks and failures
Configure and maintain Subledger Accounting (SLA) for expenses, including account derivation rules, cost center and project allocations, and liability and clearing accounts
Manage integrations with Oracle Payables, corporate credit card providers, and HR systems using FBDI, ADFdi, and/or OIC
Develop and support reporting using BI Publisher and OTBI/Smart View, covering expense trends, policy compliance, and reconciliation
Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, automation, and control enhancements

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Expenses
Strong understanding of expense report lifecycle, policy enforcement, and Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Experience with expense configuration, workflow setup, and integration with Oracle Payables (AP) and General Ledger (GL)
Hands-on experience with accounting troubleshooting, reconciliation, and month-end close support
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles (GAAP)

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with corporate credit card integrations and project costing integration
Familiarity with BI Publisher report development and security
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Experience working in SOX-controlled environments
Basic SQL skills for troubleshooting and reporting
