Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,620 - $2,690 per week

Key Job Details – IR RN Travel Nursing Assignment

• Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) – Travel Nursing
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (potential extension available)
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 13, 2025
• Healthcare Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center, Diagnostic Imaging/Interventional Radiology Department
• Shift: 4x10 hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), including floating, holidays, weekends, and on-call as needed
• Hours per Week: 40

Qualifications – Interventional Radiology RN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (required for NY nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred

IR RN Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery for Interventional Radiology patients, including overnight observation care
• Deliver nursing care to both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan
• Support patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds
• Float within the department and perform charge nurse duties as needed
• Participate in a rotating schedule, including holidays, weekends, and on-call/callback shifts
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced clinical environment
