Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team and help lead operations in a high-volume, dynamic environment. This role is ideal for an energetic, detail-oriented professional who thrives on collaboration, creativity, and delivering exceptional food experiences.
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee production, ensure consistency, and inspire a culture of excellence in the kitchen. You’ll play a hands-on role in menu development, catering execution, and daily operations while mentoring a strong team.
What you’ll do:
Partner with the Executive Chef to plan menus, control costs, and drive operational excellence
Supervise, train, and motivate culinary team members to deliver consistent quality
Support preparation and execution of catering events and daily service
Ensure food quality, presentation, and sanitation standards are upheld at all times
Assist with purchasing, inventory, and cost management initiatives
Roll out new culinary programs in collaboration with company marketing and culinary teams
What we’re looking for:
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of progressive kitchen management experience
High-volume culinary operations and catering background strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, menu planning, and cost controls
Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and kitchen management systems
ServSafe certification highly desirable
