Non CDL Light Truck Driver

Southtowns Supply, a family-owned business and subsidiary of Lardon Construction Corporation, has been proudly serving the Western New York community since 2009. Located in Blasdell, NY, the company specializes in producing high-quality mulch and wood products on its 15-acre wood-waste site, offering landscape and hardscape materials at wholesale prices. Southtowns Supply is seeking a Non-CDL Light Truck Driver to join its team and deliver products such as mulch, compost, topsoil, stone, and sand to residential and commercial customers. This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, a supportive team environment, and the chance to contribute to a company dedicated to quality and community service.

Requirements:
Has a valid driver’s license and a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card)- we will be willing to pay for the medical card if you do not have one, must be employed for 90 days or you will be required to reimburse the company.

• Clean driving record for the past 3 years.

• Pass with negative drug test.

• Must possess good decision making and judgment skills.

• Reliable, motivated, safety oriented and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a small dump truck (under 26,000 GVWR) to deliver landscape and hardscape products to local residential and commercial sites
• Follow delivery schedules and instructions with attention to detail
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when representing the company to customers
• Perform light cleaning and maintenance of the truck, including cleaning the cab and truck bed after deliveries and occasional power washing
• Adapt to changing work environments and delivery needs
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain effective relationships within the organization
