Job Description:
The Building Trades Department is seeking applicants for an instructor in the Building Trades AOS degree program. The position's responsibilities include instructing post-secondary students in Building Trades principles and application. Academic instruction will include classroom lecture and hands on activity at on and off campus sites. Outside of teaching responsibilities, the position will require involvement in the campus community and university service to include student advising, recruiting, committee service, curriculum development, and maintaining industry relation.
This position is an on campus face to face position.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be well versed in building construction theories, as well as expertise in residential construction, including foundation and concrete work, framing roofing, interior and exterior finishes, doors and trim, and light commercial construction. Successful candidates will have a minimum of five to seven years of trade experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will hold an associate degree in a related field.
Teaching experience in a technical environment is preferred.
