Technical Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Architect for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. This role involves developing full‑stack trading and market‑data applications across front‑office and middle‑office workflows.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Architect job responsibilities include:

• Develop and enhance Java/Spring microservices supporting trade capture, pricing, validations, market‑data workflows, and real‑time processing.

• Build responsive Angular front‑end applications including trade blotters, dashboards, PnL/risk views, and workflow screens for trading and operations teams.

• Design, model, and optimize relational database structures (Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Server) supporting trades, orders, pricing, reference data, and settlements.

• Implement capital‑markets business logic across front‑office, middle‑office, and post‑trade workflows including confirmations, allocations, regulatory reporting, and settlements.

• Integrate market data providers and internal systems using APIs, messaging, and event‑driven architectures for high‑volume, low‑latency environments.

• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and support containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes with exposure to AWS/Azure cloud environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 6–8+ years of professional experience in full‑stack development using Java, Angular, and relational databases.

• Strong hands‑on expertise building microservices, trading UIs, and SQL‑based data models within capital markets domains (trade lifecycle, pricing, risk, reference data).

• Proven experience integrating with market‑data providers and implementing high‑performance, low‑latency systems supporting front‑office and middle‑office workloads.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
