Job Description

  • Advise clients on legal matters related to Private Equity M&A transactions within the Asset Management sector.
  • Draft and review complex legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and regulatory filings.
  • Provide counsel on structuring and negotiating private equity deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless legal support for transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all legal processes.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support their business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments to provide strategic advice.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Strong academic credentials and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Expertise in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and asset management legal practices.
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal transactions and provide strategic advice.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
  • License to practice law in New York.
