Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer at Pinner Construction, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across different market sectors and for a range of clients in Los Angeles and Orange County. As a representative of Pinner, you will be empowered to actively contribute to our culture of excellence, trust, and quality. Your role as a key team member in shaping the future of Pinner Construction will involve developing and implementing innovative processes and techniques to drive the company's progress forward.
Your primary goal will be to assist the project team as an acting liaison between owners, design teams, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants. This includes, but is not limited to, material procurement and schedule coordination. Throughout the course of the project, it will be the responsibility of the project team and Project Engineer to ensure that the technical aspects of the project are being completed as established in the project’s specifications. By taking initiative in executing all responsibilities with expediency and accuracy, you will create value for yourself and your project.
- Work in collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Superintendent to ensure financial, contractual, administrative, and technical aspects of the project are executed as determined in the official contract documents.
- Review, closely analyze, and produce financial and contractual project documents for the project team, owner, subcontractors, design team, and associated team members.
- Closely study and analyze the contract terms and conditions, analyze all contractual changes in order to produce and process COs and Subcontractor Agreement Modifications (Mods).
- Review all financial reports and take part in various financial and project review sessions with the project and executive team.
- Provide assistance throughout the development of the project budget and estimates.
- Review financial reports with the Pinner Construction Accounting Department in order to guarantee overall budget accuracy and cost coding.
Project ENGINEER Job Requirements
- Work in Los Angeles County or Orange County.
- Hold either a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Architecture, or relative 2-7 years of industry experience.
