Job Title: RN – Nursing Educator

Location: New York, NY

Type: Contract | 14 Weeks (Temp to Hire)

Shift: 5x7.5 Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: Up to $3,661/week (Based on experience)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursing Educator for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver nursing education and training programs for clinical staff
• Provide orientation, onboarding, and competency assessments for nursing personnel
• Support evidence-based clinical practice and nursing standards
• Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and improve staff performance
• Facilitate staff development, continuing education, and competency validation
• Support policy implementation and quality improvement initiatives
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
• Maintain accurate education records and documentation
• Promote patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• Participate in audits, meetings, and educational planning activities

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License required
• Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration (NYSED) required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• ASN/ADN required
• Master’s Degree in Education required
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience required
• Minimum 2 years Perioperative (Periop) experience required
• Strong clinical background required
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills required
