Manhattan Audio South, a premier New York City private audiology practice, is seeking a motivated, growth-oriented Doctor of Audiology who wants to build, lead, and expand their own patient base within an established, high-reputation clinic.

This role is ideal for an audiologist who thrives in a private-practice environment, enjoys autonomy, and is driven to cultivate long-term patient relationships and referral networks. Providers with experience or interest in Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) assessment and treatment and/or CHTM certification are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations and interpret results
• Recommend and implement individualized hearing treatment plans
• Counsel patients on hearing technology, outcomes, and long-term hearing health
• Discuss pricing and communicate the value of hearing healthcare and services
• Fit, program, adjust, and service hearing instruments
• Conduct follow-up care, repairs, and ongoing hearing aid management
• Support and collaborate with clinic staff to maintain smooth operations
• Build referral relationships and cultivate a loyal patient base
• (Preferred) Provide or expand APD testing and treatment services

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and growth-motivated
• Comfortable functioning independently in private practice
• Strong relationship-builder with patients and referral sources
• Passionate about expanding patient wellbeing and hearing outcomes
• Interested in developing specialty services (e.g., APD)

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (AuD)
• New York State Audiology License
• Hearing Aid Dispensing License (NY)
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience (private practice preferred)
• CHTM certification (bonus)
• APD testing and/or treatment experience (bonus)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $70,000–$120,000 (based on experience)
• Commission and performance-based earnings
