Travel Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology Job
Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology (IR) to assist in minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The RN will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety, procedural efficiency, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, biopsies, and catheter placements
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and sedation levels during procedures
- Administer IV medications, contrast agents, and moderate sedation as needed
- Educate patients and families on pre-procedure and post-procedure care
- Maintain sterile techniques and assist in equipment preparation
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, or Cath Lab preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, contrast agents, and sedation protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-tech environment
