Special Project Manager

We are pursuing a motivated and detail-oriented Manager of Special Projects to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY.As the Special Projects Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and managing special projects and continuing programs for the credit union. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career, work closely with Senior Management and multiple departments, and make a direct impact on the success of the business.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
» 5+ years of similar or related project management practice
»Bachelor’s degree preferred
»Must have practice working in a financial institution back-office
»Diligent, organized, and resourceful, with exceptional time-management and problem-solving expertise
»Highly skilled communicator and influential leader, who easily elicits cooperation from others
»Technology savvy, with a minimum general knowledge of various banking/credit union software and systems, Microsoft Office, and capability to lgain new programs quickly

What You’ll Do As The Manager of Special Projects (Responsibilities):
»Coordinate, implement, and direct various project plans; represent the President/ CEO in the implementation of long-term new projects, and in administering continuing programs
»Communicate the vision and goals to internal and external stakeholders and provide continuous updates to all appropriate parties
»Provide administrative support to the President/CEO across all programs and projects
»Coordinate work performed by project team members; contact with the credit union's departments and outside vendors to facilitate the prosperous implementation and completion of projects
»Maintain project plans, including details relating to resources required, timelines, schedules, budgets, and communication
»Continually monitor the progress of all projects against established goals and timelines
»Assist the CIO in coordinating and collecting annual vendor due diligence; maintain vendor management system with up-to-date contract information and risk assessments
Pay: $65,000 - $70,000, located on practice, plus up to 15% annual bonus located on credit union performance.
