TQA has a combined 65+ years of Quality Management experience in the automotive industry. The driving goal behind the way our team operates during a ‘Sort & Inspection’ of parts is to first and foremost contain the customer’s problem and then to immediately provide the support needed for the supplier to resolve the problem and eliminate the fall-out. During ‘Sorting & Inspection’, our inspectors use documented work instructions to record quantity inspected and frequency of problem(s), and quantity certified on an Inspection Report.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 3rd Shift supervisor (10pm-7am) Monday thru Friday and some weekends.
• Implement methods to inspect and evaluate products via job instructions in PowerPoint.
• Ensure all products adhere to quality standards.
• Perform detailed and record inspections of products.
• Train and manage the inspectors on approved sorting methods.
• Track products through the facility to ensure all quality products are being used.
• Work according to deadlines without sacrificing the quality of the product.
• Make sure all employees adhere to all safety and COVID procedures.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tonawanda, NY 14150: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or College
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Communication skills to convey information in reports, and status updates
• Knowledge of automotive products to perform quality controls
• Ability to handle stress
• Ability to take direction
• Able to train inspectors on proper sorting procedures
