Willow Implementation Specialist
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support the design, build, and deployment of medication management applications within a large healthcare environment. This role focuses on implementing complex pharmacy-related workflows, collaborating with operational teams, and guiding analysts through configuration and system enhancements. Responsibilities:
- Lead and support full-cycle implementation activities for Epic Willow Inpatient, including analysis, design, build, testing, and go-live support
- Translate business and clinical requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
- Provide guidance to analysts on workflow design, system configuration, and best-practice use
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across clinical and technical systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert on medication workflows, rules, and system functionality
- Support requirements documentation, testing cycles, change management, and deployment activities
- Provide end-user support, troubleshoot system issues, and participate in optimization efforts
- Contribute to training, mentoring, and process-improvement initiatives for the team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Current Epic certification in Willow Inpatient (required)
- 5+ years of Epic implementation experience within a large healthcare setting
- Experience supporting pharmacy or medication-related workflows in a clinical system
- Familiarity with integration points, medication ordering workflows, and clinical decision support
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations preferred
- Clinical background is a plus
