Manager of Commerical Insurance & Compliance

Our client, a well-known manufacturer of Chemicals and Fertilizer, is seeking their Manager of Commercial Insurance and Compliance. The Manager of Commerical Insurance & Compliance is responsible for the successful integration of acquisition(s), as well as managing compliance requirements for all Commercial Insurance Products.
Specific Duties - Insurance:
-Use your knowledge of property and casualty insurance to manage an effective process to provide timely and accurate exposure information for renewal and review coverage terms and conditions
-Use effective communication and insurance knowledge to serve as a resource for internal and external stakeholders on risk management areas involving, but not limited to, contract reviews, certificates of insurance, and coverage questions
-Manage various aspects of insurance spending including allocation methodology, premium tracking, claim processing, prepaid expenses and routinely communicating with Finance and Accounting
-Demonstrate strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills by developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency
-Supporting other colleagues in the global team to meet local regulatory compliance requirements.
-Participate in ERP strategy and roll-out.
-Act as main liaison for non-sales/procurement items for credit, operations, insurance.
-Assist with EPA and Chemical registrations.

Specific Duties - Compliance:

-Manage all commercial insurance products.
-Handle all insurance claims.
-Ensure 3rd parties are compliant with contractual insurance requirements.
-Distribute company certificates of insurance as appropriate and necessary.

Qualification Requirements:
Effective communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Able to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of sophistication.
Collaborative approach: Develop productive working relationships with insured, brokers, claim handlers, underwriters and legal counsel. Seek input from others as needed to achieve the best result possible. Capable of working and collaborating with a virtual team.
Passion for results: Approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs. Think quickly and prioritize multiple work streams without sacrificing quality. Act with a sense of urgency.
Intellectual curiosity: Willing to ask questions and explore new ideas. Be eager to learn and focus on continuously improving technical skills.
B.S. degree in accounting/finance preferred
5+ years of related experience
Operate independently within own scope of responsibility, handling multiple activities with competing priorities and ability to anticipate issues, identify and implement solutions

Assisting underwriters with policy drafting initiatives, as well as new business and renewal meetings.
Coordinating and managing communications with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., underwriting, brokers, reinsurers, external vendors, etc.) to ensure the highest level of customer service.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must have strong written and verbal communication internally and externally to a variety of third parties
-Excellent organizational skills
Capable of being an effective team member and display initiative
Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other employees within the company

Compensation: 140k-150k plus Bonus and all Benefits.
